Brand Identity &
Sunny Days is a new brand of handmade, wooden toys for preschool children to teach them about colours, geometry and healthy competition.
The logo is a typographic interpretation of a ‘sunny day’ full of fun games with friends. It is made with a custom font designed to represent the geometrical forms that are used in the toys. The letter A is specially rounded to make its form more approachable, playful and soft to the touch. Every other letter in the logotype is placed in a 45-degree angle to make sure that the logo doesn’t lose its distinctiveness, even when it is used in a single colour or in black and white.
The identity has a colour palette inspired by bright, bold colours used in the actual toys. They are also the first colours children learn about in school.
